Instructors can set a "Feedback Release Date" on their assignments, which controls when students can view comments on their submission.Instructors can access this by clicking on the assignment within the course, and then clicking on the title of a student's submission. All grading for Turnitin assignments should be done through Feedback Studio.Instructors can create a Turnitin assignment in any content area of a course by going to the Build Content button, and selecting Turnitin Assignment. Instructors may also assign a grade to the student in Feedback Studio, which automatically flows to the Grade Center in Learn. Turnitin includes a grading tool called Feedback Studio, which allows for online comments and feedback to be added directly to a student's submission. Each paper's comparison results are displayed with a color-coded chart indicating where similar blocks of text appear in Turnitin's database. Files submitted to a Turnitin assignment are compared to an ever-growing database of web pages, newspapers, journals, books, and other students' papers. Turnitin checks students' work for improper citation or potential plagiarism.
